I have them unistalled the Symantec SEP software and the Anywhere Access and VPN started working again. I have also try to create custom exeptions on the Firewall Rules to allow both TCP and UDP from remote and local 80 and 443 ports that are the ports needed for the Windows Anywhere Acess and VPN to work as you can read at: Īfter that i run the open port test tool at my server to confirm if port 80 and 433 where open and the result was that yes, both are open. I have already try to create a new security policy just for this server with just Antivirus and Antispyware enabled (all the other features like Sonar, Web Protection, Network Protection are all disabled). I’m running a local office server with “Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials” and i have installed the Symantec Endpoint Security latest version (SEP-.4013) in order to protect my server.īut right after the reboot when the installation was done the "VPN" and "Anywhere Access" stopped working.
